In development Our game

A world that runs on music

Our current project is a 2D top-down action RPG focused on exploration, dungeon crawling, combat and puzzles. It draws inspiration from the classic The Legend of Zelda games and the way they blend adventure, combat and environmental puzzle-solving.

Orquesta

The game is set in Orquesta, a world whose people are divided into factions based on families of musical instruments. Music generates an essence that sustains most of its inhabitants. Over time, political manipulation, censorship, inequality and the persecution of certain groups have transformed its society.

Instrument families include

  • Wind
  • Strings
  • Percussion
  • Conductors
  • Electronic

Tamboril

Our protagonist is a young member of the percussion faction. After attacks by mysterious mutant creatures, he sets out on an adventure to discover the truth behind the legendary conductors and the history of his world.

What we're designing

  • Explore

Move freely through a top-down world and interact with characters, objects, signs and mechanisms.

  • Fight

Face enemies with different behavior patterns, armed with a basic melee attack.

  • Solve

Explore dungeons and solve puzzles built around the environment.

  • Use special items

Items that work in combat and for solving puzzles. In our current demo design, it's a frisbee.

Visually, we're aiming for detailed pixel art, tile-based environments and a distinct identity for every faction, with music that reflects each instrument family and region.

Everything in this section describes the game's current design. Details may change as development continues.
